Site walk-around checks

Leader-signed site checks on every visit — with sensible switches for quick jobs.

Each crew's team leader gets a short walk-around checklist on every visit — condition of the site, hazards, anything worth flagging — and the job can't close until it's done. An Unsatisfactory answer flags the visit to the office with the notes.

Three switches keep it practical:

  • Skip for this job — on quick jobs (a fast line-mark, say) tick "turn walk-around off for this job" when creating the job or round.
  • Do it during the last task — leaders who walk the site anyway (e.g. on the blow-down) can opt to complete the check while clocked onto the last task of the visit instead of at the start.
  • Solo visits — when a leader isn't on site, the check falls to whoever is.
