Each crew's team leader gets a short walk-around checklist on every visit (condition of the site, hazards, anything worth flagging) and the job can't close until it's done. An Unsatisfactory answer flags the visit to the office with the notes.
Three switches keep it practical:
- Skip for this job: on quick jobs (a fast line-mark, say) tick "turn walk-around off for this job" when creating the job or round.
- Do it during the last task: leaders who walk the site anyway (e.g. on the blow-down) can opt to complete the check while clocked onto the last task of the visit instead of at the start.
- Solo visits: when a leader isn't on site, the check falls to whoever is.
