A one-off job: a tree job, a single cut, anything that happens once

From the schedule to the crew’s phone in about two minutes — the video above walks through it.

Start on the schedule. Go to the day you want, press Add and choose One-off job.

  1. Where's the work? Search for the site and pick it; the client comes with it.
  2. Title and description — what the crew will recognise, and what's been agreed.
  3. Repeats is already one-off and the date is the day you came from. If another day would suit, best fit shows what's already booked nearby so the crew aren't crossing the county for one job.
  4. How long and the price. A full day, the agreed figure. The service type colours it on the schedule.
  5. Who's doing it — tick a crew, or more than one, and it lands on their day.
  6. Tasks are what the crew tick off on site. Type them in, or start from a saved template.
  7. Create. The job is on the schedule as a single visit: that day, that crew, done when they say it's done.

Open it afterwards and everything's there — the tasks, the time, the price, the client. When the crew finish, it completes, and if the job invoices on completion the invoice goes out by itself.

A bigger one-off (a clearance, a hedge cut over several days)? Pick how many days and it books them back to back as one job, Sundays skipped.
