Month review (internal profitability by visit)

Office-only: every visit completed in a month with cost, revenue and margin, subtotals by customer and site, thinnest margins first.

Reports → Month review. Pick a month and you get every completed visit as a row: date, customer and site, round, crew, time on site, cost, revenue and margin. Subtotals by customer and by site (thinnest margin first), a "thinnest margins" strip at the top, and totals. PDF and CSV buttons; Email to the office sends the PDF to every admin and office user. It is internal — nothing here reaches a customer, and it isn't filed on any customer record.

How the numbers are built. Cost is what the crew actually clocked: labour at each person's fully-loaded rate (pay × on-cost), travel time at the same rate, and machine-hours from the task timers at each machine's £/hour. Revenue is the per-visit price in force on the visit date, or — for contract rounds, with contract visit allocation switched on — the contract's effort-weighted per-visit share, or the T&M invoice.

Two honesty rules. A visit nobody clocked into shows no time and a blank cost, not a zero, so it can't flatter the total. A visit with no price, allocation or invoice shows a blank revenue. Both are counted in the caveat line so you know how much of the month is guesswork. Per-visit margin is indicative — judge a round over a quarter.

Automatic: Settings → Features → Month review to the office emails last month's PDF on the 1st.
