Getting a site plan in front of the crew

Anything you file on a site goes out with the job. Quotes stay in the office.

Open the site (Clients → the client → the site) → Documents → upload. Site plans, the scope of works, access notes, a gate drawing, a walk-round video, whatever the job needs. The crew open it on the visit screen under Designs & docs, on every visit to that site, and it's captioned "on this site" so nobody mistakes it for today's drawing. A video plays on the phone rather than downloading.

The one exception is a quote. A priced quote stays in the office. The drawings attached to a quote still reach the crew, through the round the quote became.

RAMS is different. File it as RAMS and the crew get a read-and-sign panel instead, once per site; with RAMS sign-off on (Settings → Operations & compliance) an unsigned RAMS blocks clock-in until it's signed. So don't file a site plan as RAMS, or your crew will be asked to sign a drawing and can't start work. The upload box tells you which you're doing before you press the button, and the list underneath marks every document crew see it, crew read & sign or office only.

Filed on the client instead of the site? Then it's an office copy and no operative sees it. Documents reach the crew through a site, so upload it again on the site that needs it.

Don't want the crew seeing site paperwork at all? Settings → Features → Crew see the site's documents. Switch it off and they get the site's RAMS and nothing else. RAMS is never affected by it.
