Your crew don't get the office console. On their phone they see a clean day-view:
- Today's jobs, in order, with site, timing and what to do.
- "I've arrived" to clock in on site.
- Checklists to work through, with photos and notes.
- Mark complete when done; the office board updates live.
- Report an incident or pick up an urgent job.
Also on their phone: the morning briefing and end-of-day yard wizards, machine checks and fuel logging, a scoreboard where good work earns points, and a red SOS button that alarms the whole team with live location if someone working alone needs help (it even works from the lock screen on the app). Stood-still check-in (Settings → Features, off until you switch it on): if someone has a task timer running and their phone hasn't moved more than 30 metres for 10 minutes, the app asks them — "Everything alright?" with I'm OK / I need help on the notification itself. I'm OK opens a one-line box for what they're doing (waiting for a gate, a belt gone) and that line goes quietly to the office; I need help, or no answer for 10 minutes, raises the SOS with their last location. The crew are never told about each other's check-ins. It relies on the phone sharing location while on the clock, which is what the morning phone-health notice polices.
Crews can also bring a job forward (pull any of their next-5-days jobs into today when they're ahead) and log expenses with a receipt photo.
Poor signal isn't a problem, clock-ins, task timers and notes taken offline queue on the phone and sync automatically when coverage returns.
They never see your other clients, your financials, or the office menus, by design. Crew sign in with a simple username + passcode on their phone.
No signal and the photo rule. "Job is done" asks for at least one photo of the work. If you took the photo with no signal it's saved on the phone — the app counts it, lets you finish the job, and both the photo and the finish go through when you're back in coverage.
